The Back To Jerusalem Podcast

Many mistake the idea of Back to Jerusalem as a movement of the Chinese church to evangelize Jerusalem. However, Back to Jerusalem is the goal of the Chinese church to evangelize the unreached peoples from eastern provinces of China, westwards towards Jerusalem. Our organization partners with the church of China to not only evangelize the religiously oppressed areas of Asia, but to also train and send Chinese missionaries into the unreached regions of the globe, including Muslim, Buddhist, and Hindu nations. This podcast is a publication of the 501(c)(3) organization Back To Jerusalem and chronicles our experiences from the field.
Good news from the field!

According to North Korea’s own laws, Kim Jong Un is an illegal leader. He has been disqualified many times over and actually belongs in a gulag. Integrated into the social structure of North Korea is a secret socio-political classification system – known as “songbun” – that determines how a person will live from birth until death. Earlier this year, ISIS threatened to carry out attacks on China. It seems that they are now following through with this threat. Pakistan’s military quickly sent in security forces to conduct operations in Mastung, where the Chinese were being held. When they

There have been many studies that have proven that speaking two or more languages is a great benefit for your mental health. There are so many excuses that so many people give as to why they cannot learn a new language. “I’m too busy and don’t have time for that,” or “There is nobody that I’ll be able to talk

This week BTJ hosted a marriage seminar in Shanghai for couples serving in the underground house church. The persecution against the underground churches in China has been coming from more than one direction. Even though we often read reports about government persecution against the church, there is another attack that has been launched that is even deadlier – the attack

It has been said by someone (though I can’t remember whom) that the blood of the martyrs is the seed of revival. This principle can be seen in Psalm 126:6, which says, “He who goes out weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come home with shouts of joy, bringing his sheaves with him” (ESV). It’s a clear Biblical principle

“It is dangerous here. Everyone has been evacuated. We are the last ones remaining. If we do not leave now, we might die here.” That was the message coming over the phone to the BTJ team in Shanghai, China from South Sudan. The Chinese have been working in Sudan for several years. They have been able to plant churches, build

All foreign Christians working in China and North Korea know that there is a chance their work will get them in trouble with authorities, no matter how hard they try to benefit their adopted country. But it is not always the work that leads to trouble. As foreigners, they can become unwilling actors in high level political games. This was
