The Back To Jerusalem Podcast

Many mistake the idea of Back to Jerusalem as a movement of the Chinese church to evangelize Jerusalem. However, Back to Jerusalem is the goal of the Chinese church to evangelize the unreached peoples from eastern provinces of China, westwards towards Jerusalem. Our organization partners with the church of China to not only evangelize the religiously oppressed areas of Asia, but to also train and send Chinese missionaries into the unreached regions of the globe, including Muslim, Buddhist, and Hindu nations. This podcast is a publication of the 501(c)(3) organization Back To Jerusalem and chronicles our experiences from the field.
The Gnashing of Teeth in Syria – A Living Apocalypse
Without hyperbole, the nation of Syria is living in the apocalypse. It is a nation where wailing, suffering, and the gnashing of teeth is never ending. The sun and moon are drowned out daily by the smoke of bombs and explosions. Misery and suffering foretold in the book of Revelation is unfolding in Syria and the recent earthquake is just

“This weapon gives life, hope, changes life, gives happiness,” says a Ukrainian soldier while pointing to a New Testament provided by BTJ. Then he shows his automatic rifle and continues, “this weapon takes life and brings pain and heaviness. May God protect us from it!” A year ago, BTJ funded and produced almost 36,000 New Testaments in the modern Ukrainian

Let me tell you about a revival. It’s 2023. There is a war in the East, crisis to the West and in the midst of the turmoil there is something else rising. A noise, like the sound of a multitude of bones coming together. It seems like the last 30 years have been a staging time for this fresh, new

“PREPARE FOR WAR!” – This is the shocking message posted by the People’s Liberation Army of China which has since gone viral. The phrase could be translated as “prepare for war” or “ready to fight,” but China’s official English newspaper, the Global Times, makes it clear that they are “Preparing for war.” Has the DRAGON awakened? The Communist Party of

BTJ Office in Poland: This is War (and I’ve accepted it) How did it happen that BTJ is actively involved in the support of war refugees fleeing Ukraine? What is our role and core activities? How did it even happen that BTJ has an office in Poland?! I don’t think it will surprise anyone that it all started through Brother

Dear BTJ friends, Greetings from the Netherlands! As a church, we are entering the season of Lent, remembering the sacrifice our Saviour made for us. When He was questioned by Pilate, He said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is

A few months ago, we reported on the humanitarian disaster and destruction of ancient Christian heritage in Ethiopia. The Ethiopian army together with Eritrean forces had invaded the northern region of Tigray. Reports of mass murder, mass rape, ethnic cleansing and man-made famine were coming out of Tigray, fuelling grave concerns for the population. Precious and unique Christian churches, monasteries

The world watches as two of its leaders are at each other’s throats. The aggressive threats that have been the trade mark of the Kim regime in the DPRK for many years, are now responded to in kind by the US president. It seems the Kim regime is particularly angered by the word ‘rocket man’, used by Trump in his

In the midst of worries and war talk, let’s pause a moment and thank God for the great news that our brother pastor Hyeon Soo Lim was released from prison. He was sentenced to a lifetime of hard labour after he was arrested in the beginning of 2015, while doing NGO work in North Korea. His family, church and government

It has only been a few weeks since our last North Korea up-date, but much is happened and prayer is continuously needed. A dangerous game is being played between North Korea and the US, which currently both have leaders that are mostly untested when it comes to serious crises or diplomacy. The position of North Korea is that they will
