New Believers Baptized in Bhutan – The First of 2021

The first baptisms of 2021 have taken place in Bhutan. Just before Bhutan went back into lockdown to curve the impact of the coronavirus, several partners with BTJ baptized almost a dozen new believers. This is a major breakthrough for the nation of Bhutan!
Bhutan has 73 unreached people groups and is considered to be an unreached nation by the Joshua Project. Several months ago, BTJ took a team of supporters from Europe and America to Bhutan, to meet with the underground house church leadership and pray for their work. Christianity is relatively new in Bhutan and today’s believers are considered to be the first fruits. They love it when BTJ supporters travel to Bhutan to fellowship with them. At the moment the underground church in Bhutan is not very large, but is growing every year because of the prayers of believers around the world.
This year, BTJ plans to support more efforts than ever before to share the Gospel in Bhutan. We praise the Lord for these new believers who were baptized.
