“Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the truth,” is a basic law of propaganda to the Nazi writer Joseph Goebbels. Amongst psychologists it is known as the “illusion of truth” effect and it is being used heavily by the Palestinian Authority today.
The top PA official Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’ Advisor on Religious Affairs Mahmoud Al-Habbash deploy’s Joseph Goebbel’s strategy by completely denying Jewish history, claiming “For thousands of years, Jerusalem was a Palestinian, Arab, and Canaanite city, and it is an Islamic Christian city… and the occupation [Israel] does not even have a minimal right to it. Let me be clear, sincere, and direct – not even a religious right. We do not recognize any religious right of theirs. Even the Al-Buraq Wall that they claim is the Western Wall is Islamic waqf. All the claims and lies with which they [the Jews] are attempting to invent an alleged right for themselves will not change the Arab, Islamic, and Palestinian identity of the holy city [of Jerusalem].”
Earlier this year, he went even further in his efforts to rewrite history when he said that King Solomon was a Muslim. “No one has a connection to the Western Wall except for the Muslims! Our lord Solomon was not here, his kingdom was not even here. And even if it was here, Solomon was a Muslim, on the path of Muhammad and Abraham [the Muslim].”
According to Adolf Hitler, in his notorious book Mein Kampf (1925), A ‘Big Lie’ is a powerful technique that introduces something that is so grossly untrue that nobody would ever believe that a person would be capable of making it up. Hitler used the “Big Lie” technique to blame the Jews for Germany’s loss in World War I.
According to historian Jeffrey Herf, the Nazis used the “Big Lie” technique to turn sentiment against Jews and justify the Holocaust, exactly like the PA is doing today.
The Jewish Bible is irrefutably one of the oldest documents in history that is still active. The Jewish writings of King Solomon and the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem predates Islam and the Koran by thousands of years. The western wall is an ancient artifact from the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem, but the “Big Lie” technique that has been deployed by the PA and Muslim leaders is now being repeated by liberals and college students around the world and has created a hostile environment that has created an atmosphere much like Nazi Germany in the late 1930s.
