Message from Chinese Mother of Slain Missionary

Last summer, two young Chinese BTJ missionaries gave their life in Pakistan when they were abducted by ISIS.
Five months later, their remains were shipped back to China and a memorial service was held for them. The authorities watched over the funeral, but that did not stop a bold grieving mother from sharing about the sacrifice that they gave on the mission field.
As she calmly sat in front of the attendees, she gave words for us all to learn from and hear. This is the message from a loving mother in China as she lays her child to rest in the arms of the Lord.
I am the mother of Li Xin Heng, today I am really thankful for each one coming and all your prayers and sacrifices to the ministry.
Li was dedicated to God. When he was young, he was a very naughty boy. I couldn’t discipline him. I did the only thing I knew to do and dedicated him to Jesus Christ.
I am humbled that he listened to the simple prayers of a woman like me and accepted my son as an instrument to be used for His kingdom.
Today as I recognize his blood that was shed in Pakistan for the sake of Lord, I am both sad and thankful. Being a mother I am very sad at the loss of my son, but being a daughter of God, I am very thankful,
I know where they are and Who they are with. Their passing is precious.
I am thankful to our Lord for choosing my son Li Xin Heng and dear sister Meng Li. Among the masses of people, let them become a blessing for the nation of Pakistan and rest of the middle eastern countries. I believe through these two seeds the Lord will bring a revival for Pakistan.
I also ask God to forgive ISIS. Forgive their sins and transgressions for they do not know what they are doing.
I really appreciated the dear brother and sisters that gave me a chance to share my farewell. Even though we have two believers that have gone on to be with the Lord, I believe that their stories will only encourage unity in the Chinese churches. We will see the revival fires burn hotter and they will burn from China to the rest of the unreached world.
I am thankful to You, our Lord Jesus Christ. May Your will be done. May Your name be glorified. All the glory belongs to You. Thank you Jesus.
