At the KFC in the Shenyang Airport, China, there is something that takes place that doesn’t happen anywhere else in the world.
Every time an Air Koryo flight readies for Pyongyang, North Korean passengers run towards the KFC in the departures hall and buy everything they can. The KFC is cleaned out of everything they have, from fried chicken to chicken burgers.
BTJ has been working in North Korea for more than two decades and honestly there are no fast food restaurants that can compete with KFC. Though the North Korean government might hate capitalism, they can’t help but to love the food at KFC.
