Pastor Chris Monaghan joins Eugene on this episode to discuss the importance of serving in God’s kingdom, and challenging the status quo. They discuss a few things that have happened in the past few months, but also discuss some pitfalls. First, they delve into the exciting new book released by Pastor Chris, titled “The Illustrated Book of Nehemiah,” which brings edification to the saints by exploring the shadows of the Torah. 

You will also be introduced to Marcion, who preached that Jesus is a completely new god, separate from the “vengeful” God who created the world. As a result, Marcion advocated for the dismissal of the “Old Testament.”

Lastly you will learn about a recent event at Pastor Chris’ church. Pastor Chris had invited an evangelist to his church based upon the recommendations of a few well-respected individuals. The evangelist claimed to have visited heaven and hell, and Pastor Chris invited him to share this testimony with the church. However, during his time at the church, Pastor Chris and the church staff discovered certain things that led them to conclude that the evangelist was a fraud.
