Episode 408: BTJ Canada Hosts Private Showing Of Movie ‘Unplanned’
Unplanned is a heart-stopping drama movie based on the life of former abortion provider Abby Johnson. The movie takes you behind the scenes to the personal trauma that is experienced every day with young women in an abortion clinic and how a spiritual transformation of one person can make the difference between life and death for thousands of innocent babies.
Watching Abby’s life story from both sides of the abortion clinic property line is an absolute must for any Christian who wants to understand more about the biblical value of human life and how to respond with love and compassion.
The Back to Jerusalem vision of the Chinese church believes in the value of every human life and is proud to support the leadership of the Canadian BTJ office in the screening of this film. Forced abortions have been implemented in China for decades and since the implementation of forced atheism, the Chinese government has put very little value on human life. Millions of babies are aborted every year in China – many of them are due to the one child policy pushing families to culturally prefer boys over girls. It is estimated that China aborts approximately 13 million babies per year or 134 times more than in Canada or 20 times more than the USA.
Most Christian churches in the west have shied away from addressing this topic and left Christians confused on where they stand in regards to the value of human life. It is estimated that almost 2/3rds of the women that get abortions today in North America identify as Christian or Catholic. Killing unborn babies has become a crisis in our society.
Two theaters in Canada that have planned to show the screening of this movie have received death threats (https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/two-canadian-cinema-owners-receive-death-threats-ahead-of-unplanned-screening). This is a movie that strikes at the heart of those that peddle death.

Not everyone decides to go against the law and organize the screening of a film that is forbidden to watch. This is a deliberate serious step.
