What is Lacking in the Church Today? Brother Yun Shares the Answer to this Question from the Mount of Olives

Chinese evangelist Brother Yun, also known as the “Heavenly Man,” became one of the most prominent Christian leaders in China in the underground house church, even though he was an uneducated man from a poor village in Henan Province.
He didn’t grow up in church, didn’t attend Bible school, and in fact had never met a Christian until his father was on his deathbed and his mother led him to pray to a man that he had never met – and His name was Jesus.
After watching Jesus supernaturally heal his father, Brother Yun embraced an unshakable faith that led him to prison several times and endured extreme torture and persecution, but during that time, he also experienced something that he has seen lacking in the western church today – power.
“The church today lacks this,” Brother Yun proclaims in this video filmed on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem. “The disciples received a message. They received power, clarity, boldness, and they started preaching the Gospel. At that time even the religious people started to believe. People from all walks of life. Jesus was not just knowledge, but also an experience. You will be filled with Spirit and Power. And where does this power come from? They didn’t experience the power and become hotshots – they resolved to be steadfast in prayer. They sought to always be like Jesus. Then they were able to take Jesus’ word as truth. Lay your hands on the sick and they will be healed. Simply touch them and they are well.”
