Urgent prayer needed: Children in Nepal cut off from food supplies (updated)

Taking care of vulnerable children is a high calling and a tremendous responsibility. The Tamang family have taken in 20 children in Nepal, for which they provide physically and to whom they give the protection of a family.

However, today an urgent request for prayer reached us through one of our partners in the area. Due to unusually heavy snowfall for the last three weeks, roads are inaccessible, and no aircraft can reach the area. Supplies have run out and the children are in urgent need of food.

They ask their brothers and sisters abroad to join in earnest prayers that God will make a way to provide the children with what they need.

We gladly pass this request on to you all, asking you to keep them in your hearts and prayers as they face this tremendous challenge. We also ask you to pray for the protection of the believers in this area, who are currently facing false accusations and arrest.

Update February 12th: Our partners told us today that weather conditions have improved enough that tomorrow the first flight with food supplies can take off. Thank you for your prayers!
