The more I work in the cyberspace, the more I see it—the Internet and Social Media as we know them are dead and in their place a monster is growing. “Isn’t that an overstatement?” you might say, but unfortunately the unstoppable development of AI is leading us to a time when none of us will be able to discern between real and fake digital content.
Even more, even real events will be questioned. I have seen that in last 2 months during the revolution that is taking place in Iran, a flood of fake clips and pictures have been weaponized to undermine the reality of the evil of the Iranian regime. The internet had been completely shut down for 3 weeks and the internet that came back online is heavily censored. The biggest players in the media used the tragedy of the Iranian people to present their own worldviews and political opinions, treating the heartbreaking stories of Iranians as disposable tokens for extra views and higher ratings. I myself was a witness to countless debates where the death and suffering on the Iranian streets was used as a “comma,” only to prove or disprove a political view or personal business. In a cyberspace like this, nothing seems clear anymore.
This is why I can say: THANK GOD FOR THE WITNESSES. I am so humbled to be a member of the Back to Jerusalem family, being able to talk to the live witnesses of what is happening in Iran, listening or reading stories of REAL people who are connected with the church of Europe and America over a network of trusted contacts who can cross-verify every story and bring us the true scope of the situation. Even more than this, by being in touch with witnesses on the ground, we can design a plan of action to meet the needs of the suffering, to help those in pain, to pray in an informed way—for actual people and their current issues.
The same applies to you and I. We are now being called more than ever to be a witness for Jesus Christ in a face-to-face way, showing love and grace to a generation glued to their devices, submerged in a virtual world of misery and endless drama. But can we? Can we reach out to them and be effective witnesses of Christ? I believe so, because I believe in what Jesus has said:
“you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)
The Holy Spirit is the one who will give you the courage, abilities, calmness and ferocity to successfully show the Gospel with words and your own life, which is an indisputable proof.
Just go. You will never be alone. Maranatha. Letter from the Polish Office

Modlę się o naszych braci w Iranie oraz o wszystkich świętych, którzy są prześladowani i cierpią w innych krajach.
Dziękuję Bogu za ich świadectwo.
