SCHOOL GOES CRAZY FOR CHINA MISSIONS

Yesterday, BTJ had the rare opportunity to visit and share the vision of the underground house church of China with Kristna Skolan, a Christian school in southern Stockholm.

Kristna Skolan is a very unique school for primary and secondary children in and around the Swedish capital of Stockholm. A couple hundred students from ages 8-16 years old attended the weekly chapel service where BTJ was able to share about the Chinese underground house church and the vision of preaching the Gospel in the most closed countries.

“The students are so excited about this. Many of them have been looking forward to it all week,” Leopold Landström, one of members on staff at the school said yesterday. “They are really excited to see the pill Bible.”

BTJ demonstrated the Hologram Pill Bible for the entire group at the same time. No pictures or videos were allowed during this time because of the security of the BTJ device.

Although the pill Bible is only designed for one person to read at a time, amazingly, more than 100 students were able to read it at the same time! This was the first time that the BTJ Pill-sized Bible was able to be tested in such an environment.

The response from the students was phenomenal.  Many of them were cheering at the top of their lungs and were on fire for missions.  The young people were so excited about missions that more than 50 of them even asked for the autograph of BTJ representatives! Imagine young people wanting the autograph of missionaries with as much enthusiasm as many would have for Hollywood or sports icons!

“They all loved it,” said Camilla Olsson, one of the teachers at the school and the author of the amazing book Genom Allt (Through Everything) wrote after the meeting. Camilla is a good friend of BTJ and helped arrange the chapel meeting to encourage the students. “There is a constant buzz over the whole school after your visit. Thank you!”

BTJ donated two books, LEAVING BUDDHA (SWEDISH) and SHACKLED (ENGLISH) to the school for the library.  One young girl took SHACKLED with her, tucked under her arm.  “That is for the library,” shouted Leopold Landström after her.  “I know!”  She replied.  “I am going to give it to the library and be the first to check it out.”

It is clear that Kristna Skolan has a new breed of young people excited about the new things that God is doing.

Dr. Eugene Bach is a known trouble-maker with an active imagination and sinful past. He has a PhD, but is not a real doctor, so please do not call for him during a medical emergency on an airplane when someone is having a heart attack. Eugene started working for Back to Jerusalem in the year 2000 after a backroom deal involving Chinese spies, the NRA, Swiss bankers, and a small group of Apostolic Christians that only baptize in Jesus’ name. He spends most of his time in closed countries attempting to topple governments by proclaiming the name of Jesus and not taking showers. From time-to-time he pretends to be a writer. He is not good at it, but everyone around him tries to humor him.
