How Does Business Relate to Missions?

Broadcasting live from a bustling airport in China, Eugene is thrilled to announce some groundbreaking news regarding the utilization of business for missionary work.

In the mind of the western church, Business as Mission (BAM) is simply an approach that combines missionary work with investment strategies, focusing solely on leveraging real businesses to generate profits, without any Mission goals. However, Back to Jerusalem stands apart from this model. We embrace all the aspects that the western church believes are not part of BAM’s philosophy.

The Chinese church employs Business as Mission (BAM), not as a strategic choice, but out of necessity. BAM serves multiple purposes – it facilitates visa procurement, provides a platform for ministry engagement, offers a cover for evangelism activities and generates income to support missionaries. This unique approach distinguishes Back to Jerusalem (BTJ) from the international community in the Western Church. Episode 725: BTJ Business As It Relates To Trump

My love for the Chinese people grew while I was there, but when I learned of the Back to Jerusalem movement, I knew the L-rd wanted me to be proclaiming His gospel message to the unreached people between China and Jerusalem. Let’s unite and complete the great commission. We need to accept the challenge Jesus has given us so that we can feel the exhilaration of victory.
