Fighting Against Child Exploitation in Cambodia

While our network in Cambodia includes many groups, one partner is now dedicating their funding to develop a training center that focuses on protecting children from sexual exploitation.

The market in Cambodia poses a threat to children by creating dangerous conditions which expose them to risks of being sold into sexual slavery. Our partners on the ground aim to shield endangered children from this danger by supplying educational services and secure living spaces which keep them safe.

Through its educational and protective programs, the center will also help the personal growth of the children. Our partners work to teach children essential skills and knowledge which will help them build resilience and develop independence.

BTJ has also provided extra money to support a Bible school operating in Cambodia through another partner. The school plans to extend educational choices across the region and it is hoped that through this approach to education, it will create diverse learning environments for youth which will bring the light of hope to a nation shadowed by its historical killing fields.
