Pastors in the underground house church in China have been looking for a way to communicate that would allow their conversations to remain private. BTJ hackers responded by providing the brand-new BTJ Black Phone.
At the start of this year, BTJ hosted our annual BTJ Hackers Conference, where specialized hackers from around the world come together in a secret location and develop new ways to smuggling the Gospel message into closed nations.
One of the new inventions that the hackers have been working on is the BTJ Black Phone. Operating under the principle that the best hackers are those who are inspired by the Spirit of the Lord, we are introducing to our partners the BTJ Black Phone.
Earlier this year, the BTJ Black Phone was provided to underground house church pastors in Iran and now, this week, BTJ shared it with the leaders of the largest house churches in China.
Over the years, BTJ hackers have developed tools like the clandestine BTJ Gospel Cloud unit which shares the Gospel message on trains and at bus stops, the pill-sized hologram Bible, and a credit card-size digital Bible with a battery that lasts for seven years without charging, to name just a few of the past products. At the BTJ Hackers conference, one never knows what to expect, but this years BTJ Black Phone is one of the most significant developments to aid the underground house church.
When I first saw the BTJ Black Phone, I was not that impressed.
“This is it,” Mike said (not his real name) as he passed to me what looked like a normal mobile phone.
I held it in my hand and was confused. It looked like a cheap mobile phone. “What is it?”
“Open it up and find out.” he replied.
With a quick swipe of the screen, I opened it up to find a simple layout with pre-programmed numbers. “Go ahead,” he said watching me stumble around the layout with my clumsy fingers. “Push the call button and see what happens.”
I pushed the number and immediately saw the face of my friend working in a closed country.
I had made my first call using the BTJ BLACK PHONE.
Due to security, we cannot give any further details about the phone except that it is not like using a regular cell phone. Though it looks like a modern mobile phone, it is actually a special communication device that allows users to talk with friends without registering for a service, identification to a cell phone tower, the use of a SIM card, and without a data plan.
It aids believers to speak with one another without the government being able to listen in to their conversations, monitor their text messages, trace their contacts, view their photos, or follow their movements.
The BTJ Black Phone is a GAME CHANGER and is the result of partnerships developed during the BTJ Hackers Conference.
BTJ Hackers are not paid by BTJ. They are merely a group of like-minded individuals who want to use their skills and resources to get the Gospel message into hostile nations. The BTJ Hackers conference is an annual event that allows IT specialists, software engineers, program writers, and cyber-security experts to gather together with like-minded believers from around the globe.
The Hackers conference has been attended by Christians who work for secular entities like Google, Facebook, CIA, NASA, and military cyber warfare units. Each brings their experience and expertise to the table to develop the latest technology for the kingdom.
