BTJ’s New Book Now Available in Chinese!
For the first time ever, BTJ is making books available in the Chinese language for those outside of China.
For almost three decades, BTJ has been providing many different books in the Chinese language to the underground house church of China. During that time, we have printed and distributed more than 22 million Bibles, books, and teaching materials.
Since the Communist Party took control of China in 1949, printing materials that are not approved by the Communist Party has been illegal. Many Christian books, including the Bible, has been illegal to make available unless they are printed by the official press.
These books are difficult for Chinese speakers to get their hands on inside of China; even outside of China there are difficulties.
Most online book publishers and sellers like Barns and Noble are blocked in China. Other major venders like Amazon, self-regulate their services in China (like Amazon Prime, Music, and Amazon Fire) eliminating many products that the Communist party do not approve of.
However, today, BTJ is starting to make Christian books available to Chinese speakers around the world in simplified Chinese.
