BTJ is not the only group to have a hacker’s network. It was recently discovered that the North Korean government is also establishing a secret hacker’s network of their own.
In recent years, North Korea has used hackers to steal money and technology. They have especially focused on crypto currencies and it is thought that they just pulled off the largest heist in world history, stealing a whopping $1.4 billion worth of Bybit crypto currency.
This new hacker’s group is reportedly inside the intelligence agency Reconnaissance General Bureau (RGB), simply called Research Center 227.
This new hacking unit will focus on building “offensive hacking technologies and programs.” Research Center 227 will no doubt attack cybersecurity systems and computer networks in western countries as well as strengthen the regime’s capabilities to steal digital assets like cryptocurrencies, company secrets, identity theft, and even Artificial Intelligence technology like their neighbors to the south have been working on for years.
The U.S. National Security Agency and the FBI see North Korean RGB hacking unit as a serious threat.
BTJ is currently using different hacking techniques to get the Gospel into the closed country. While North Korean hackers focus on stealing money and secrets, BTJ hackers focus on saving souls.
