Iran in new Revolution as Two Cities Fall into Hands of Protestors

Iran has officially fallen into civil war today after more than four decades of radical Islamic rule. The two Iranian cities of Abdanan and Malekshahi have been taken over by protesters as the government withdraws their troops.

According to western news sources, at least 36 people have been killed during the last 10 days of protests and more than 2,000 arrested.  However, many police have been caught on camera waving to the protestors and supporting their efforts.

In Malekshahi, at least one police officer was shot and killed before the government forces pulled out.  In the video below, police can be seen opening fire on an unarmed civilian crowd in Neyriz County, Fars Province.

These protests come days after Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said his country is engaged in a “full-fledged war with America, Israel, and Europe.” The next day, the streets of Tehran were filled with protestors who shut down their shops and refused to open them back up.  Some are even taunting the Iranian president by joining in a growing trend of marking streets as Donald Trump Street, like in the video below.

Iran’s economy continues to spiral out of control and the currency devaluation is wiping away large swaths of the countries wealth. Those who have worked hard and followed the rules of the Islamic regime have seen their savings wash away.

In a sign of desperation, this week, the government tried to capitulate by offering to give people a monthly check of seven dollars, but it hasn’t cooled the protests.

As of today, the protests have spread into 110 cities across the nation and Christians are praying for a breakthrough.
