A young Christian mother in China has been held in a secret prison for more than a month, after developing one of the most popular Christian apps called “Song of Songs,” according to BTJ partners in China.
Xin Ruoyu from southern China was arrested last month and has been kept in a secret prison since. Secret prisons is a term which refers to locations used by police to detain prisoners they do not want to register.
“She created one of the most popular applications for Christians in China,” one source reported this week in China. “Her app was used for downloading music. There were no other applications like it allowed in China.”
Xin Ruoyu has not been able to contact her family during this time and, because she has been held at an undisclosed location, there is no information about the conditions that she is being held in.
