What Is It Like to be a Child During War?

“When I closed my eyes (to sleep), would I open them up again?”

Eugene is joined by Naghmeh Panahi on the latest podcast episode. Growing up in Iran, Naghmeh has similar war-like scenarios that many Ukrainians are facing today.

She shares about the fear of losing her parents, being buried in rubble, and of not waking up in the morning. Nagmeh was robbed of the innocent joy of not having to worry. Children are sensitive to environmental pressures and should be allowed to laugh and play. However, waking up as a child to the sounds of bombs is a nightmare.

What are the lasting repercussions of this type of trauma? Listen to Naghmeh share about her experiences. These experiences are what has propelled her to be emphatic about what Jesus said in Luke 15:4: as believers, we need to be concerned with even one lost sheep.

Episode 657: What It’s Like To Be A Child During War

I am a Messianic Jewish believer that felt the tug of the L-rd towards the unreached. I decided I would go to China. My love for the Chinese people grew while I was there, but when I learned of the Back to Jerusalem movement, I knew the L-rd wanted me to be proclaiming His gospel message to the unreached people between China and Jerusalem. Let’s unite and complete the great commission. We need to accept the challenge Jesus has given us so that we can feel the exhilaration of victory.

War is an awful happening of Adults caused my hatred for the enemy or Religion or wanting to take over the land and claim it or dislike for the Leader and people living in it or the worse is retaliation. Children of all ages are precious and aren’t concerned with the Adult things of above but only want to be LOVED and feel SECURE and SAFE. They don’t HATE others like Adults do and aren’t RACIST of anyone’s skin color or race or Religion unless Mom and Dad teach them to be RACIST and HATE others. Children get caught in war and bombings frightened and terrified not knowing what’s happening. They are the innocent victims amongst the rubble and casings and scrapnale and many die. I have a beautiful photo of a little girl Middle Eastern amongst the bombings smiling with her hands folded in prayer that would make anyone cry. You see her innocence. She’s not part of the Adult War. Just a Child. Watch these 4 Rock Music Videoes in this order (John Lennon and Yoko One Happy Christmas) with the child in the war being held and when you go to watch it you must click confirm because some scenes are disturbing and then This is War by the Rock Band 30 Seconds to Mars the one with the soldier with the Helmut on and Edwin Star War what is it Good for with his face and the Flag and Ten Years After Band I want to Change the World with flag and the PEACE SYMBOL.
