US and Nigeria Launch Joint Attack Against Islamic Militants Responsible for Killing Christians

The President of the United States just shared that the US, working together with the Nigerian military, launched an attack on Islamic militants responsible for killing thousands of Christians.  They have confirmed killing Abu-Bilal al-Minuki, the second in command.

For several years, a massive genocide against Christians has been taking place in Nigeria and for the most part, the world has been silent. Week after week, Nigerian Christians have been brutally slaughtered by Islamic militants.

For Christmas last year, BTJ launched a program to help Christians in Nigeria find safety and support. Christians around the world donated to BTJ to send food and supplies to the church in Nigeria, as well as to help them celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ in safety.  Christmas and Easter have been traditionally the most dangerous time of the year for Christians in Nigeria.

This year, BTJ sent aid to the children who were orphaned by the bloodiest Easter attacks in years in Nigeria.

Though there has been sad silence about the slaughter of Christians in Nigeria, it seems that the US is one of the few nations in the world that is taking steps to help protect them.  The US military worked together with the Nigerian military to help eliminate the threat posed by ISIS fighters.

President Trump made the announcement in the early morning hours in Asia, that “Tonight, at my direction, brave American forces and the Armed Forces of Nigeria flawlessly executed a meticulously planned and very complex mission to eliminate the most active terrorist in the world from the battlefield.”
