URGENT PRAYER NEEDED: Christian Hackers Focus on Disarming New Taliban Biometric Program

Prayer warriors – we need your prayers!

The Taliban is using sophisticated biometric equipment that they have captured from the military, to go door-to-door to hunt down Christians. BTJ started working with our hackers over a week ago to develop a way to disable this equipment, but prayers are desperately needed.

Over a week ago, a BTJ partner with special connections on the ground in Afghanistan alerted BTJ that the Taliban captured special US-made hand-held scanners that were used by the US military to identify people in Afghanistan. Twelve years of photos and individual biometric data was stored on the military database, including information such as sex, age, marital status, and religion. Now the Taliban know exactly who the Christians are.

BTJ has been working with our hacker community to discuss ways that could be used to disable the program.

BTJ didn’t write about the story when we were first alerted of it, because the information was so sensitive, but now one of the Taliban brigade commanders, Nawazuddin Haqqani, has bragged about it during a recent interview with Zenger News, confirming that the Taliban does indeed have the US-made hand-held scanners and have gained access to the massive database of information to identify Christians.

The biometric units were used to scan faces, eyes, and fingerprints. The information was then stored in a central military database. This means the Taliban now has several thousand of these units that were left behind and complete control of the database.

The new special Taliban unit is called Al Isha and is now one of the most dangerous units in Afghanistan, because they have information about secret Christians that used to be kept top secret.

This information is coming out after it has also been revealed that the US has provided a detailed list of all the American citizens and Afghani partners still in Afghanistan – this has now become known as a ‘kill list.’

Even so, the power and reach of the US biometric database is much larger and more comprehensive. Virtually everyone who worked with the Afghan government or the US military, (including interpreters, drivers, nurses, and secretaries) was fingerprinted and scanned for the biometric database over the past 12 years.

Some of the BTJ Christian hacker volunteers were trained by the US military, but it is not yet known what the US military is doing in response to this massive breach of data.

Please pray for the BTJ hackers and team members who are working on this.

Please pray for the Christians whose information is on this database.

Please pray for the Christians who are still in Afghanistan and preaching the Gospel.

If you would like to join the BTJ Hacker Conference and provide unique modern aid to the underground church, come and join us in February 2022.  Space is very limited and a screening process is mandatory.  More information can be found by writing to:  office@backtojerusalem.com

    Hi,
Thank you for your concern for Afghan Christians. But do you have any proof to substantiate what you just claimed? Or is this just hearsay like so many Christians spreading rumors?

Hi John, there are links in the article that go back to the source backing the information in this article. This is not hearsay, this is happening right now!

Will, the article does not say anywhere that the biometric data is about Christians but rather those who worked for the US military, which clearly includes Muslims as well. While the story about the Taliban using the data to find those who helped the US is accurate, it’s disingenuous to propagate the story as if it’s about targeting all Christians in Afghanistan alone. Yes, Christians are in genuine danger but reports like this on B2J need to reported accurately. Not all Afghan Christians are in that database nor should we assume they are.

God is so far greater than we can possibly imagine! Father release your fire and confusion into the camp of the enemy, utterly confound them and turn them one against another! Glorify you Son and release visitations even to the most evil that they might consider their eternal state. Let your river run deeper through the Middle East, we know that you are in the midst of her!
