I came across a social media post and also saw a video of a man named Aadesh Soni calling 5,000 people to gather on March 1st 2025, to join “Gau Nyay Yatra,” which means “cow justice parade.“ He is asking to enter three villages in Chhattisgarh, India—Bishrampur, Janakpur, and Ganeshpur, where the majority of residents are Christians.
He is urging the people to invade homes, violate their daughters and their daughters-in-law, and publicly commit obscene acts. He justifies this by accusing Christians of slaughtering cows, which are considered sacred in Hinduism, and claims to have the support of the administration. There is a picture of his post below:
In another video, Hindu priest, shankrachrya Avimuteshwaranand, who inspired Adesh Soni, has called on 1,000 people to kill those accused of cow slaughter, stating that they should kill them first and then get hanged by the government.
Can such incidents happen? Yes, they can.
In December 2024, in the same state of Chhattisgarh, eight village councils passed resolutions banning Christians from staying in their villages. These resolutions forced Christians to either renounce their faith or leave the villages. Reports indicate that around 100 Christians were affected, with threats of confiscation of their property and farmland if they did not comply. Also, a mob of 1,500 people reportedly began looting Christian crops and demanding they abandon their faith. The police did nothing about it.
You may think ‘can women be paraded naked in the public square in a Democratic country like India?’ The answer is yes. It happened in the state of Manipur in 2023. Historically in the 1860‘s, Rev. Dr. Oscar Lohr, a German missionary, was instrumental in bringing the Gospel to the state of Chhattisgarh. This state predominately has a tribal population called the Adivasi.
Please if you are reading this, take a moment to pray for the protection of these women and our Christian family in this state. What is being threatened is worse than getting arrested or going to jail.

Christian leaders should contact the prime minister, Shri Amit Shah and state CM and beg them to provide security to all Christians including Dalit Christians. They should also file an urgent case in Supreme court and beg the chief judge and other judges to give them protection. Christians must act. We often get requests NOT to share about the persecution of the church, but those requests usually come in the form of demands from the governments of China, North Korea, Iran, etc. That makes your ‘biblical’ argument for Christians to suffer in silence extremely unique. It is not often authoritarian regimes find such an ally in the church.
Unfortunately, as it pertains to your demands to remain silent about the persecution of the church, the author of this article, BANU, is a former Muslim from India and does not want her people to suffer without the church praying. Sadly, she apparently does not share your views for believers to suffer in silence. She believes in being an advocate for the persecuted church and asked BTJ to specifically share this information believing that there is power in prayer, and power in informed prayer.
As it pertains to donations, perhaps BooBoo, your comment would have been a little more legitimate if BANU lived in India and wanted to raise money for this effort. However, she does not. She now lives in the west and receive no money for or from ministry.
