UPDATE: Yezidi girl on the road to recovery

A few weeks ago we asked urgent prayer for Khaleda, a Yezidi girl from Iraq who had set herself on fire and needed urgent medical treatment in Turkey. One of our friends in the area had started a fundraiser to cover her medical costs, and we want to thank all of you who have prayed and contributed financially.
We would like to give a brief up-date. Khaleda has recovered well from the latest surgery. Her wounds are still treated and she gets intravenous painkillers. The plan is that she will have one more skin graft in the coming week. If she continues to recover well after this final skin graft, she may be able to return home in about three weeks.
Please pray:
- For continued recovery and protection from complications
- For the remaining cost of her treatment to be covered
- For the emotional healing of Khaleda and her family, who have gone through so much trauma
- For Khaleda and her family to find peace in Jesus Christ
