UNMASKED: Life Returns To Normal in China.

While most of the world is wearing masks, there is one nation that is no longer wearing them – China.
In many ways, China has returned back to normal life. While the UK has been in full lockdown, Canada has stopped most international travel, and Los Angeles has even banned walking – businesses in China are in full swing, are open, and running at full capacity. Restaurants are full, offices are open, factories are up and running, and students are all back in school.
Life in China seems pretty normal again.
“We are no longer required to wear masks,” reported a BTJ missionary today. “We need to wear a mask if we go to the airport or take a train, but we do not need a mask when we leave our home any longer.”
The Chinese BTJ missionary who cannot be identified for this report, has been traveling to different parts of China and helping to arrange Bible production supported by funds that were raised in October and November. “When I travel to different parts of China, it is all pretty much the same. Few people are wearing a mask anymore and everything is back to normal.”
Officials at the airport take the temperature of passengers and everyone is required to carry a health QR code on their phone.
International travel has mostly stopped and does not seem to be picking back up again any time soon, but signs of life are beginning to emerge.
With life returning to normal in China, many are now asking, “has China beat the coronavirus or have they simply just moved on?”
Perhaps this is a question that no one is able to answer just yet.
