This is Why 2022 Has Been the Year of the Bible

In late 2021, when the world was panicking about Covid-19, the BTJ team had a strong feeling that 2022 was not going to be the year of the pandemic, but instead was going to be the “Year of the Illegal Bible!”

Today, the Bible is illegal in 52 countries and Christians in those countries are crying out to get their hands on God’s Word. This is why BTJ has been focused on getting the Word of God into some of the most closed countries on earth.

Over the years, we have been able to print and distribute more than 10 million Bibles in China, but this year we have had breakthroughs to provide Bibles, not just in China, but North Korea, Iran, Bhutan, China, Mozambique, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, and for the first time ever, we were even able to provide Bibles directly to the troops on the front lines in the war zone in Ukraine!

And – the breakthroughs have not just been geographical. The types of Bibles that have been produced have been significant. We have been able to use our special pill-sized hologram Bible, as well as our Black Trumpet Bible, which is a digital Bible specifically designed for the front lines of Afghanistan.

The BTJ Hacker’s Network has played a key part in helping to provide God’s Word in closed countries. The Black Trumpet, a covert Bible project designed by BTJ Hackers and conceived during the annual BTJ Hacker’s Conference, is now available in both digital and audio versions and we will also soon have a new clandestine audio Bible for Somalia, Yemen, and Syria and will be available for distribution during the Hajj in Saudi Arabia.

Each one of these unique Bibles that we were able to provide this year was undoubtedly a direct result of prayer!

In 2021, BTJ sent out a special prayer calendar to pray for these Bible projects. The name of the prayer calendar was called, “YEAR OF THE ILLEGAL BIBLE.”

The prayer focus for each month was:

January – Illegal Bible Printing in China
February – Bible Smuggling in Iran
March – Mp3 Bibles for North Korea
April – Black Trumpet Bible Afghanistan
May – Gospel Cloud Bibles
June – Bibles for Burma
July – Micro SD card Bibles
August – Audio Bible for Africa
September – Pill Bible
October – Bibles for NK
November – Children’s Bible for China
December – The Secret Hacker’s Bible

One of the biggest breakthroughs for BTJ came when we were able to deliver Bibles in Afghanistan. After the Taliban took power in Afghanistan, the local government knew there was Christian activity and they immediately took measures to stop it.

The Taliban went from door-to-door looking for Bibles, Christian teaching materials, a cross – anything that would identify believers.

Christians in Afghanistan reached out to BTJ for help, because for many years we have dealt with similar challenges in China and deeply understand the need for security during times of intense persecution.

This is the genesis behind the launch of Operation Black Trumpet. Operation Black Trumpet boldly brings together Christian hackers from around the world to provide back door tunnels for Christians in closed nations, allowing them direct access to download blacklisted Christian phone applications without being detected.

Believers in Afghanistan were able to get access to the Bible through this initiative.

Every week BTJ is working to provide Bibles in several nations simultaneously. To join this effort and help provide Bibles in closed countries, click here:

Dr. Eugene Bach is a known trouble-maker with an active imagination and sinful past. He has a PhD, but is not a real doctor, so please do not call for him during a medical emergency on an airplane when someone is having a heart attack. Eugene started working for Back to Jerusalem in the year 2000 after a backroom deal involving Chinese spies, the NRA, Swiss bankers, and a small group of Apostolic Christians that only baptize in Jesus’ name. He spends most of his time in closed countries attempting to topple governments by proclaiming the name of Jesus and not taking showers. From time-to-time he pretends to be a writer. He is not good at it, but everyone around him tries to humor him.
