The Bible Explains the REAL Reason Islamic Armed Forces Are So Ineffective on Modern Day Battlefield

The Economist just published an article entitled, “Why are Arab armed forces so ineffective?” It was a bold article to find an answer for the incompetence of Islamic armies, but it failed spectacularly to explain why.

Foreign Policy’s website recently complained, “The United States has spent 70 years and tens of billions of dollars training Arab militaries—with almost nothing to show for all the effort.” This article also failed to provide an adequate answer for why.

BTJ works extensively in Muslim nations and can provide the real reason, but warning – the answer is not a popular one.

The truth is the history of Islam is incredibly violent. The prophet Muhammad was a warlord who taught his followers to convert people using violence, rape, slavery, and death. Following the death of Muhammad almost 1,400 years ago, Muslim military conquests were impressive, taking over massive areas in Arabia, the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and even Europe.

Unlike Christianity, Islam grew primarily through war and violence.

Today however, the question arises, if Islam only spread through war and violence, then how are they so bad at it today? Islam is one of the largest religions in the world. Muslim militaries have an abundance of resources like land, oil, precious metals, and access to water, yet on the modern day battlefield they have proven to be largely incompetent.

When all the Islamic nations surrounding Israel decided to attack in June 1967, Israel, being outnumbered and outgunned decimated the Muslim nations with such ease, that it won the entire war in only six days! When the US went to war with Iraq in 2003, the military victories came so fast, that the biggest problem was the logistics of supplies trying to keep up with the pace of the attacking forces. The US did in a couple of weeks what Iran couldn’t do in 10 years.

European nations, when fighting Islamic militaries, literally have to impose rules on themselves to be more humane and gentle, as if they are policing an unruly child instead of fighting a military. It seems the only success Muslims have when fighting wars today is when they adopt terrorist tactics and attack civilians, women and children.

So, what is the answer? Why were the Muslim militaries 1,000 years ago so effective and today so embarrassing?

Answer? Islam literally makes people dumber.

How is that true? Muslims desperately seek the Quran for both knowledge and wisdom, and objectively it can be stated that neither can be found. The Quran, the most holy book for Muslims, is not organized chronologically or thematically, therefore it is impossible to follow and understand.

The Quran also has incomplete sentences. Reading the Quran is similar to listening to a senile old man who loses his train of thought. A surah or a verse in the Quran can begin explaining an idea and just completely stop mid-sentence. And like an old man, the Quran also often repeats itself without rhyme or reason.

For this reason, when followers of Islam use the Quran as their source of wisdom, it radically transforms their ability to use reason and logic because they apply their religious thinking to their everyday thinking. When this same anti-logical thinking is adapted to healthcare, science, technology, or even battlefield tactics, it doesn’t provide positive results.

The Bible teaches us clearly in Proverbs 9:10, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.”

This means that when God is rejected, basic wisdom, knowledge, and understanding is rejected. The wisdom of the Bible is not only rejected by Muslims, but is forbidden in many Islamic nations. And though the Christian ideas of mercy and love seem weak and foolish to them, when it comes to the modern day battlefield, it is they who look weak and foolish.

1 Corinthians 2:12-14 explains it this way, “What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words. The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.”

It is the love of God, not the hate of the infidel, that is the beginning of all understanding.

Dr. Eugene Bach is a known trouble-maker with an active imagination and sinful past. He has a PhD, but is not a real doctor, so please do not call for him during a medical emergency on an airplane when someone is having a heart attack. Eugene started working for Back to Jerusalem in the year 2000 after a backroom deal involving Chinese spies, the NRA, Swiss bankers, and a small group of Apostolic Christians that only baptize in Jesus’ name. He spends most of his time in closed countries attempting to topple governments by proclaiming the name of Jesus and not taking showers. From time-to-time he pretends to be a writer. He is not good at it, but everyone around him tries to humor him.

I love Brother Yun and BTJ. A while back the humor as shown in the above article on Dr. Eugene Bach was removed. I felt so much more comfortable. I feel BTJ is doing a serious and important work for God. Humor can be a part of that, but this humor seems to diminish the site and the ministry in my eyes. I was upset with the website before and so happy when it was revised. Now I have found this article, perhaps there are more. Please think about the image you want to present to the world. I say this only with the desire for your important part in God’s work to be elevated. Thank you for your consideration.

I have to agree with this article. I have been debating Muslims and reading their books and posts for several years on social media while also listening to experts and have found it impossible to engage a Muslim in logical and factual discussion. Logic is actually haram in Islam because engaging in it would eventually cause the person to see all the contradictions of history and science and of Allah himself and potentially leave.
