The Back To Jerusalem Podcast

Many mistake the idea of Back to Jerusalem as a movement of the Chinese church to evangelize Jerusalem. However, Back to Jerusalem is the goal of the Chinese church to evangelize the unreached peoples from eastern provinces of China, westwards towards Jerusalem. Our organization partners with the church of China to not only evangelize the religiously oppressed areas of Asia, but to also train and send Chinese missionaries into the unreached regions of the globe, including Muslim, Buddhist, and Hindu nations. This podcast is a publication of the 501(c)(3) organization Back To Jerusalem and chronicles our experiences from the field.
Missionary doctors fighting Covid-19 in China
It is not what you think it is. Our mental image of missionary doctors is usually a blond female in white scrubs injecting the black arm of a starving child, or something similar. But we are talking about Chinese missionary doctors running clinics in underserved minority areas in China. Meet Mary (not her real name). Mary was the daughter of

Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a plague attacking China. China has tried to hide the virus from the rest of the world and, as a result, the disease is running rampant. Coronavirus has brought death, disease, and, unfortunately, more persecution to Christians. Not even during an international tragedy can the Chinese government stop and embrace the support of Christians and unite with

All over the world, Christians celebrate (be it on different dates) the coming of Christ to earth. The persecuted church celebrates too. Often in secret. And when public festivities are allowed, there is

Our previous articles have highlighted renewed persecution in China, as well as the system of prison camps, where both Muslim minorities and Christians are being held without trail. But what is going on behind the scenes? Potential for repression This massive wave of religious persecution came unexpected for many, but looking back it was inevitable. When there is revival and
Continue ReadingCreating a Christian underclass
In countries where the church is persecuted, Christians are often poor, lower-class people. There are several reasons for this. In Pakistan for example, the Christian minority largely comes from lower caste Hindus who converted to Christianity while the country was under British rule. In modern Pakistan, they remain largely working class, with some groups working as virtual slaves in fields

We have seen with great joy how in recent months God has continued to use Chinese missionaries all throughout the 10/40 window. However, things in China are changing fast. And BtJ’s work is facing major challenges as president Xi’s anti-Christian policies are being implemented more widely and consistently. Although it was quite clear from the start of president Xi’s rule
