The Back To Jerusalem Podcast

Many mistake the idea of Back to Jerusalem as a movement of the Chinese church to evangelize Jerusalem. However, Back to Jerusalem is the goal of the Chinese church to evangelize the unreached peoples from eastern provinces of China, westwards towards Jerusalem. Our organization partners with the church of China to not only evangelize the religiously oppressed areas of Asia, but to also train and send Chinese missionaries into the unreached regions of the globe, including Muslim, Buddhist, and Hindu nations. This podcast is a publication of the 501(c)(3) organization Back To Jerusalem and chronicles our experiences from the field.
GateKeepers Standing With the Underground Church
The Chinese underground House Church has suffered intense persecution in the last half century, but the intense revival fire that they have experienced during times of the most intense oppression can only be explained as a miracle from God. During the darkest hours of persecution, it is easy for the Chinese church to feel isolated, alone, and forgotten by the

The communist party robbed the Chinese people of their gods. But they gave them new idols to fill the gap. Those of hard work and materialism. Everyone needs something to live for. The human spirit can endure a lot of hardship, as long as it has meaning and purpose. Religion gives people both. A collapse in religious beliefs can bring

The Chinese church has had to be very out-of-the-box through many decades of persecution. Where regular church services in regular buildings with regular pastors were impossible, they found ways to adapt and grow. With that, the Chinese church became the first country where there was a truly massive underground church of tens of millions. They set an example of adaptability

While traveling in the Middle East in February, I had the rare opportunity to spend a day with one of BTJ’s original missionaries, named Cory (not their real name). In the early 2000s, BTJ helped send out a team of five BTJ missionaries to serve in Yemen. The group had studied Arabic together before their departure. They were all in

China is playing a major role in the world today and it is setting the stage for what we read in the Book of Revelation.
