The Back To Jerusalem Podcast

Many mistake the idea of Back to Jerusalem as a movement of the Chinese church to evangelize Jerusalem. However, Back to Jerusalem is the goal of the Chinese church to evangelize the unreached peoples from eastern provinces of China, westwards towards Jerusalem. Our organization partners with the church of China to not only evangelize the religiously oppressed areas of Asia, but to also train and send Chinese missionaries into the unreached regions of the globe, including Muslim, Buddhist, and Hindu nations. This podcast is a publication of the 501(c)(3) organization Back To Jerusalem and chronicles our experiences from the field.
Former Muslims Coming to Christ in Iraq
“We have eight churches in Northern Iraq that are all made up of former Muslims and Yazidi members,” said the Iraqi pastor that we were meeting with. “We have seen so many people come to Christ since the invasion of ISIS in 2014.” For security reasons, we cannot give the name of the pastor in Iraq, but he is working

Don’t want to be a Debby-downer this Christmas? I understand. No one really wants to bring everyone down during Christmas talking about hungry children, orphans, or war refugees. The LAST thing you want to bring up at a joyful Christmas party is Christian persecution. Ugghhhh. Yuck! Some people just want to watch football and enjoy their sugar cream pie (assuming

In my opinion, it would be pretty hard for any tale to match the awesomeness of the illegal Bible printing story told by Brother Ren at the beginning of Eugene Bach’s The Underground Church (available here on the BTJ website). That said, I once heard a story that does come close, if not in terms of sheer daring, then at

On November 8th, there was a massive disaster that hit India that most people did not hear about. When most of the world was watching the US election, no one noticed when the prime minister of India, Narendra Modi, made the suprise announcement that they planned to demonetize the country and make everyone use credit. The Rs500 and Rs1000 notes

If you’re willing, take a moment and think about Christmas. What does it mean to you? What does it look like in your home? Think about the special traditions that have been handed down in your family year after year, generation after generation – you know, the things that make you smile and feel all warm, fuzzy and gloriously nostalgic

Have you ever lowered your head for prayer during a Sunday morning service only to catch yourself thinking about lunch? I am ashamed to admit that this very thing regretfully happened to me in March in Topeka Kansas when I was together with a Chinese pastor who is a very close friend of mine. We were together in prayer and
