PTL!!! We Just Did Another BTJ Food Distribution in Afghanistan

Since the takeover of Afghanistan by the Taliban, the Afghani people have been thrown into a food crisis. Banks are running out of money, the job market dried up over night, and families are begging for food.
One family was forced to sell their nine-year-old daughter to a 55 year old man in order to buy food to feed the family. “This is your bride,” the girl’s father said, as he handed over his daughter with great sadness. “Please don’t beat her.”
This week, BTJ was able to carry out a food distribution through our partners in Afghanistan! This has been an ongoing program and food has been delivered through several avenues inside the country. One single method or road is simply too dangerous, so we are using a network of partners and individuals on the ground.
The two pictures above are from the food distribution that just took place.
We want to thank all of our BTJ partners from around the world and our BTJ GateKeepers who have been praying for us, supporting us, and making this food distribution program possible.
