Urgent prayer is needed for Yunnan House Church Members who will be on trial in Kunming in Yunnan Province China this coming Wednesday, September 16.
According to reports, minister Yu Shaolin and two other members of Kunming’s Century New Town Church were arrested in April of this year and have been held to await their trial, set for September 16 for “organizing illegal gatherings.”
Pastor Yu Shaolin is a 52-year-old former drug addict who broke his addiction when he came to Christ. Now he preaches to people in recovery. His faith is strong, but his body is frail. At 52 years old, he suffers with carotid plaques, severe varicose veins, and impaired liver and kidney function.
His wife also has serious health conditions including an adrenal tumor and hypertension.
New Century Town Church is an illegal church because they remain unregistered with the government. Please pray for the three leaders and their trial on September 16, 2026.
