ONE WOMAN REFUSED TO DENY CHRIST – AND CHANGED A NATION

Mariam Ibraheem was born in a remote camp in eastern Sudan to a refugee mother and a father on the run for murder. After a traumatic childhood, Mariam worked her way up to be a licensed medical doctor and successful business owner, married the man she loved, and had a beautiful baby boy.
However, one day in 2013, her world was shattered when Sudanese authorities arrested her for apostasy – denying Islam. Under intense pressure, Mariam repeatedly refused to deny Jesus and accept Islam. When she refused, the Sharia court of Sudan sentenced her to 100 lashes and death by hanging.
In her book, SHACKLED, Mariam shares the stunning true story of how she was willing to face death rather than deny her faith. Mariam took a stand on behalf of her faith, for her children, and for all women who are maltreated because of their gender and all those who suffer from religious persecution.
Her story was covered on CNN, BBC, Fox News, and major media outlets all over the world and now she is sharing her story this weekend in Idaho.
Hear Mariam’s testimony first-hand as she describes how she was beaten, tortured, and even died and was brought back to life while in prison.
Her new book Shackled will be available at each event.
