John G. Lake: the man said to have seen a million souls saved and 625 churches established in South Africa

Guess who’s back on the podcast? It’s Pastor Chris from Indiana, fresh from his time in Cambodia visiting temples. There, he observed many striving to appease their gods with sacrifices, disregarding Gods sacrifice for them. He’s here to discuss his compelling new book, “The God Men: From the Writings and Messages of John G. Lake.”

John G. Lake, a man credited with saving a million souls, established 625 churches and launched thousands of preachers into the ministry, all within five years in South Africa. After his wife’s death, he returned to the USA and opened “healing rooms” in Spokane, Washington, where people sought and received healing. Pastor Chris ponders how John G. Lake managed to make such a significant impact on every community he encountered.

Pastor Chris shares that to be recognized as God’s men, we must be willing to endure the suffering that our Savior endured, and even lay down our lives to advance the Gospel. Men who are prepared to lay down their lives for the Son of God do not falter or grumble at the first sign of discomfort.

Episode 732: The God Men

I am a Messianic Jewish believer that felt the tug of the L-rd towards the unreached. I decided I would go to China. My love for the Chinese people grew while I was there, but when I learned of the Back to Jerusalem movement, I knew the L-rd wanted me to be proclaiming His gospel message to the unreached people between China and Jerusalem. Let’s unite and complete the great commission. We need to accept the challenge Jesus has given us so that we can feel the exhilaration of victory.
