Israel has just revealed they are being protected by the power of light.
Newly released video shows Hezbollah drones shot down by Israel’s cutting edge defense system using the power of concentrated light.
In a historic breakthrough, the IDF is now sharing about one of their top secret weapons, an unnamed light beam defense system similar to the much celebrated Iron Beam laser system. So far, the light system has shot down dozens of aerial threats during the war.
While not as much not much is being shared about the light beam system, IDF sources told the Jerusalem Post that the Lite Beam’s operational capabilities have been proven, though they declined to disclose exactly when and how the IDF has used such capabilities in the field in Gaza or Lebanon.
Unlike the Iron Dome where Israel spends $50,000-100,000 on interceptor rockets, the high concentration of light beam technology costs pennies on the dollar and can be used over and over again without much costs.
Hamas spends an estimated $300-800 on its cheaper rockets that it shoots into Israel, but now Israel can shoot them out of the air using light beams. The light beam system has hard kill neutralization capabilities, which can be integrated on any vehicular platform and can also be a component of the drone dome, which utilizes both soft kill and jamming capabilities.
Israel’s new light defense system has huge advantages such as engagement at the speed of light, an unlimited magazine for engagement, and very little cost per interception, giving new meaning for Israel being defended by the source of Light.
