Iran is on the mind of the world more now than perhaps at any other time. This also means the underground church there is catching more attention that it has previously. There are countless testimonies of people miraculously meeting Christ in the most powerful ways!
Abdull’s story is particularly amazing. As the grandson of an ayatollah, he believed the greatest purpose for his life was to die in jihad – the ultimate way to please Allah. Brother Abdull knows the true meaning of jihad. When he was only 13 years old, he left the madrassa to train as a mercenary for the Islamic Iranian army. Abdull was then trained in a secret elite Islamic unit that taught him to kill anyone, anywhere, at any time for the sake of Allah.
When the Ayatollah of Iran declared a holy war, jihad, against Iraq, Abdull was hand-selected to carry out several secret missions. On one of those missions, he died, but God had a special plan for his life and after being placed in a morgue, he came back to life!
He would later be placed on death row for his faith in Christ, but escaped with the help of the British royal family the day before his planned execution.
