Iranian House Church Describe Attacks as “Apocalyptic.”

“Last night was terrible,” said one message from BTJ partners inside Iran. “We have never experienced anything like this before. The explosions lit up the sky making it feel like it was day time.”

America and Israel lit up the skies over Iran last night with non-stop bombing raids. Thick black smoke was still rising in the sky as the sun came up in the morning. Oil depots are burning. The streets, cars, balconies and apartment blocks are covered in black soot. Many are saying that the air in Tehran is too toxic to even breathe.

With the smoke covering everything and the sun blotted out, Iranian Christians inside the country are sending texts and voice messages describing the events from last night as “apocalyptic.”

Tehran is a metropolitan city of about 10 million people and they woke up on Sunday morning choking with pain in their throat and eyes burning.

Please continue to pray for the church in Iran.
