Iran On Track to Execute Record Number of People During Christmas Season

Iran is on track to execute a record number of people during this Christmas season.

If this month looks anything like last month, Iran is set to execute more people than any other nation on earth. In the month of November alone, Iran executed at least 144 people, averaging four executions per day, according to the Iran Human Rights Organization.

As one of the world’s top executioners, Iran’s use of the death penalty is marred by frequent due process violations. Citizens rarely get a fair trial in Iran, as Brother Abdull discovered when he was tortured for being a Christian.

Brother Abdull shares his story in the book, Jihad: The Day I died. In his book, Brother Abdull, the grandson of a powerful ayatollah, shares how he was tortured in prison for almost two years without any real trial. His book is availble on Amazon.

There are many former Muslims in Iran like Brother Abdull who have become Christian. That is why, this Christmas, BTJ is working tirelessly to get Bibles into Iran.
