Indian Pastor Hears God Speak to Him at the VOP, Giving Strength to Endure

As we look back on our Voices of the Persecuted Conference 2026, we are so thankful for all that God did. So many lives were touched and impacted.

Below is a message that one of our team received from an Indian brother who is having a difficult time with the increasing persecution Christians are facing in India.

We praise God that this brother was lifted up and encouraged by listening to others who have walked through the firey trials of perseuction themselves.

Before coming and attend the BTJ conference in Oxford i was completely broken due to sudden incidents happened in our state and country.

As i [redacted for security] i have seen within 3 months more than 300 churches closed forcibly by anti christian group. I have seven churches more than 1000 members from remote villages, all my church closed. Believers are in tremendous fear. I warned from different anti christian groups not to enter in village. God saved me from the attack many many times. And my heart was broken. My main Church in City also closed. We are not allowed to meet physically as church and i am meeting with few believers in shopping malls for fellowship and holy communion service carefully.

Government introduced new law from parliament anti conversion law.  Penalty and imprisonment 10 years. I was very broken because since the day i came to the Lord Jesus , almost 30 years i know what is call persecution from family, friends, relatives and community. But this time is unbearable for us.

I was very broken and almost gave up .

But when i have attended BTJ conference in UK,  Holy Spirit revived my heart again and i am really really blessed hearing testimony from different pastor and evangelist and meeting Brother Yun.   Once again  fire of the Holy spirit ignited in my heart to continue preaching Gospel and leading the ministries in my state and country. I heard the Voice of the Holy Spirit “Do not fear , I am with you,  i will change this present situation, i will use you and give you wisdom.” After hearing from the Holy Spirit now i have courage and i am in fasting prayer for more direction from the Lord to continue His ministry in my Country and joy always bubbling in my heart. This conference was truly divine and i blessed beyond explanation.
