Here’s the REAL REASON China is Investing Money into K-12 Schools in America

An explosive new report has revealed that the Chinese Communist Party is spending millions of dollars to create ‘Little Red Classrooms” in K-12 schools in the United States, as well as other countries around the world.
The program is not new and has in fact been taking place for many years. A quick look shows that it was originally called the “Confucius Institute,” and China was simply investing in a culture and language exchange program to help children around the world to speak Chinese and understand the Chinese culture.
It all seems pretty harmless unless you have lived in China and worked directly with the Chinese Communist Party as I have.
For more than twenty years, BTJ has been building schools in the most remote areas of China. Several western provinces are living in dire poverty and the people are not able to send their children to school, so BTJ has worked with government officials to build school buildings. Although foreign NGOs can donate to building schools in poor areas, they are not allowed to be involved in any education programs.
Educating children is a top priority of the Chinese Communist Party. Every school that BTJ constructed had to have a ‘moral classroom’ and this is where everything comes to light when looking at the investments of Confucius Classrooms in other countries.
‘Moral education’ starts already at three years old. It was mandatory in every school that BTJ built. The classrooms were often filled with posters of Karl Marx, Lenin, Stalin, and Mao Zedong. The children were given special scarves and uniforms to identify them as young ‘pioneers’ of the Communist Party.
The teaching of evolution, atheism, communism, and the evils of Christianity were paramount for every child and were the primary teaching in the ‘moral classroom.’
This is where things get a bit confusing because Communism regards Confucius and his teachings as regressive. During the Cultural Revolution, Confucius and his teachings were rejected. However, the Chinese Liberation Army openly uses a strategy called “Borrowed Boats” which believes in using other ideas and means to carry out the plans of the Communist Party.
China knows that they would not be able to make education investments in other countries if they would refer to them as Mao Zedong Institutes, so they use Confucius as a ‘borrowed boat’ to carry the same ideology.
Parents Defending Education uncovered contracts that show Confucius Classrooms, or other Chinese government backed programing, are currently operating in:
- Cloverport Independent School District, KY
- Minnetonka Public Schools, MN
- St. Cloud Area School District, MN
- Tulsa Public Schools, OK
- Sisters School District, OR
- Highland Park Independent School District, TX
- Seattle Public Schools, WA
The program goes deeper than most understand with two of the nation’s top science and technology high schools having ties to Chinese programs:
-
- Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology connected to a program with one of China’s top military schools, Tsinghua University.
- North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics received a “Confucius Classroom of the Year” in 2018.
Although there are many cultural and linguistic benefits on the surface for “Confucius Classrooms,” there are large question marks about why China would invest so much money into these programs. At the heart of the program seems to be the same motivation that the Communist Party has for their own children – to teach evolution, expose children to atheism and Communism, and to eventually attack Christianity.
