Help Needed for New BTJ Underground Missionary Training School

BTJ has opened up a new underground missionary training school for Chinese candidates going to serve in closed nations in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.

With the overwhelming increase of Chinese missionaries heading out to closed countries, there is a constant need for preparation facilities. With between 1,000-3,000 Chinese missionaries heading out to the field each year, there is a desperate need for missions training that focuses on language, theology, and cross-cultural training, which is why BTJ is supporting this facility.

The current school is not a large facility but provides training for two main networks – Truth Network in Anhui Province and the China Gospel Fellowship in Henan Province. Combined, these two networks alone have an estimated twenty million believers.

The training facility has also opened the doors to train several missionaries that are from smaller urban networks as well. To maintain security, the school will not have more than twenty students at any given time. Students fly in from all over China to train at the school.  BTJ’s support for the school comes primarily from groups in Holland, as well as from BTJ GateKeepers.

GateKeepers are monthly donors who join together with BTJ to be a part of what the underground house church is doing in China and other parts of the world.  Today, BTJ GateKeepers are kindly helping to provide the rent for the facility, dorm rooms for the students and teachers, and food. The Chinese churches provide for the travel to and from the facility, as well as support for the mission field when the students graduate from their training.

For security reasons, the location of the facility cannot be shared in public forums.
