Hamas, Communists, LGBTQ, Black Lives Matter – All Unite Against Israel – Here’s Why

Hamas publicly executes homosexuals, yet LGBTQ groups and Black Lives Matter (started by three lesbians) support their fight against Israel. Chinese Communists are atheists imprisoning Muslims in re-education camps who oppose their control of Xinjiang, yet Beijing is hosting Islamic nations to impose restrictions on Israel this week. All of these groups, that radically oppose one anther, have found a common ground to unite them.

Why?

Why is the hate against Israel so strong that it has the power to unite groups that completely oppose one another?

The answer to that question might be found in the Bible. In Paul’s letter to the Ephesians, he says something extremely radical that unites Christians – both Jew and Gentile.

Paul, in his letter, outlines a three part structure that is the foundation for Christianity.

“Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In Him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in Him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.” – Ephesians 2:19-22

Notice the three parts that are mapped out in the verses.

  1. The foundation of the Apostles and Prophets
  2. The Cornerstone of Jesus Christ
  3. Holy Temple of the Lord

This example is powerful because of the iconology. Foreigners were not even allowed into the Temple. The Temple has an outer court that was called the court of the Gentiles and that was open to everyone, but the inner courts were off limits.

In his letter, Paul uses the image of the Temple and says that now, through Christ, not only are Gentiles allowed into the Temple, but they are the Temple. They make up the Holy Temple of the Lord and Jesus is the cornerstone. He is the stone that connects the building to the foundation.

In this example, we see that the entire structure is built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets. Who were the apostles and prophets?

They were the children of Israel. The Hebrew tribe. The children of Abraham who made a covenant with God and the ones who God spoke to and gave His Word to. Through the prophets and apostles, God made His ways known and in this way, they became a blessing to all the nations.

So, using Paul’s imagery, if the enemy wants to destroy the Temple, he must attack the foundation. He must attack the children of Israel.

Attacking the nation of Israel is not new. During the days of Pharaoh, the enemy tried to destroy the nation of Israel by killing all the babies during the days of Moses. He tried again with a mass genocide planned by Haman during the days of Esther and again during the days of Jesus with the killing of all the babies in Bethlehem.

It has been a strategy that has been repeated over and over again.

There is no doubt that we are watching Bible prophecy come to past as the enemy moves to destroy the nation of Israel and specifically target the killing of Jewish people. We share more about this in our latest podcast.
