Government Officials Spy on Brother Yun’s Prayer Meetings
“I have decided to leave the government church and join the underground house church. What advice do you have for me?” asked one official government Christian pastor to Brother Yun over the phone a few weeks ago.
Brother Yun hosts daily discipleship meetings online for believers around the world. Every day, Christians from every corner of the world sign on to their computers in their homes, hotel rooms, or office to read the Bible with Brother Yun and pray together. Several of those daily sessions are often visited by Chinese government officials who want to spy on what Brother Yun is doing and who he is communicating with.
“I am happy to have government officials monitoring my Bible studies! They are hearing the Word of God every day. The Gospel that they are trying to stop is being shared with them. Spies need Jesus too!”
Brother Yun knows that government officials are spying on his meetings because several of them have called him after the meeting and personally shared their stories. One such phone call came a couple of weeks ago from an official government pastor with China’s Three-Self Church.
“I have decided to leave the government church and join the underground house church. What advice do you have for me?”
“My advice is – don’t leave! Share the Gospel in the government churches as well. Government churches are full of people who are thirsty for the unaltered Word of God. They need you to be a shepherd and preach without fear.”
After a short conversation, the pastor agreed to stay at his church.
The official churches in China are facing more restrictions than ever before. It is not easy for Christians to stay in the Three-Self church and any believer that resists the government restrictions on the official church risks even more persecution than the underground house church.

Brother Yun don’t go into hiding to preach the Word of God. I always say this, If God is for me then who dare be against me? God is protecting you. Fear nothing. Pray and preach with confidence that Jesus is by your side with the Blessed Mother. Ask your Guardian Angel to protect you. I call on the 9 Choir of Angels everyday and pray to them everyday asking for their help and I also call on the Saints everyday and pray the Litany to the Saints and add as many Saints in addition asking for their help and protection and I call on my Guardian Angels everyday too. And of course the Mighty Powerful One God, Jesus who is the Father and his Mother too, the Blessed Mother. So I’m covered everyday. Be at Peace and don’t let anyone disturb your Peace.
