According to the official report, as of this recording, there were 50,000 confirmed casualties; however, Will has heard from people on the field say that the number is expected to be much higher.

Will reported that, although the number sounded crazy, he personally could see it being accurate after experiencing the tragedies and the utter devastation in two of the five cities affected by the earthquake in Turkey.
