Have you ever stopped to ask yourself where you fit into the story God’s been writing through the generations? For a lot of us, we see those long genealogies as parts of the Bible we skim right past. So-and-so was the father of so-and-so.
What if God put those names there on purpose? Your faith didn’t start with you. Somebody believed before you. Somebody passed it down until it landed in your hands. We didn’t build this. We inherited it—and that should mess with our heads a little.
