EXCLUSIVE REPORT: USA TAKING IRANIAN MONEY AND GIVING IT TO PERSECUTED CHRISTIANS

In an exclusive interview, BTJ has learned that Iranian Christians who have been identified by international courts as being persecuted for their faith will receive several hundred thousand dollars per person from assets taken from Iran.

In a bold international Robin Hood-type of program, the US is freezing Iranian assets and giving them to Iranians who have escaped from Iran because of persecution under the regime.

As members of Iran’s ruling elite are scrambling to move “tens of millions of dollars” out of the country to hide from fresh U.S. imposed sanctions, the US Treasury Department are identifying those funds and freezing them.

According to the interview, some of those Iranian assets are already being divided up and paid directly to Christians who have been persecuted by the Iranian regime.

The US Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control announced on Jan. 15 that it was taking “action against the shadow banking networks that allow Iran’s elite to steal and launder revenue generated by the country’s natural resources.”

Thousands of Iranian Christians who have escaped Iran have been identified as having suffered damages and have been awarded compensation by international courts, but Iran has refused to pay.  When Iranian assets are seized, sometimes they are used to pay the fees these defendants and their families have been awarded.  Due to the privacy of the Iranian Christians involved, names of those currently receiving compensation cannot be shared, but BTJ can confirm at least 3 persecuted Christians living outside of Iran will soon be receiving payments for their hardships and that money will be paid from the Iranian regimes seized assets.
