Many people hold onto a deep childhood dream of becoming a hero. Do you remember those innocent days of playing cops and robbers, pretending to be Superman, or engaging in thrilling games of hide and seek?
Every year, Back to Jerusalem hosts a Hackers Conference where individuals from around the world immerse themselves in an exciting new journey to address the challenges encountered by missionaries. This time, we delved into everyone’s creative ideas about missionary spy craft – it’s the secret sauce that drives our “Jason Bourne” style evangelism!
Picture this: you’re chewing gum and suddenly you’re hearing audio Bible verses meant just for your ears. Or maybe you stroll past a certain “hot spot” and voila! The Bible gets downloaded onto your phone. You could even get a message from a vending machine. Sounds awesome, doesn’t it?
The abundance of exciting new ways and ideas of how to advance the gospel is truly remarkable, and offers endless possibilities for creativity and innovation. As we delve into these cutting-edge tools at our Hacker’s conference, the Lord has empowered us to unleash our imaginations and bring our ideas to life in ways we never thought possible.
We do this because at BTJ, we firmly believe that no obstacle is too great when it comes to sharing the gospel, and we are dedicated to exploring unconventional methods to make a powerful impact. By utilizing tools like the pill-sized Bibles and delivering Bibles underwater, we are able to break through barriers and reach individuals with God’s Word who may have never had access before. It is our mission to bring hope, faith, and spiritual nourishment to those who yearn for it in areas where faith may be limited or suppressed. We wholeheartedly embrace innovation as a means of spreading the gospel effectively.
These incredible gadgets also allow us to ignite curiosity, spark conversations about faith, and ultimately lead more people towards a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. As we embark on this journey of disseminating the gospel through unconventional means, your prayers are invaluable. Pray that the Lord guides our steps and opens doors for spreading His message worldwide. With prayerful hearts and unwavering determination, we trust that God will continue working miracles through us as we strive together towards fulfilling the Great Commission.
