Drinking Tea Can Support the Persecuted Church!

Inspired to Brew

While engrossed in my Bible reading, a contemplative thought suddenly came to mind. It was one of those moments that inspire you to brew a cup of tea and go for a leisurely stroll. Reflecting on my experiences in China and Seattle, I decided to get my favorite tea from School House Tea – the Cinnamon Plum Berry Organic Botanical Blend – and set out for a walk to ponder scripture.

Unfortunately, I ran out of that tea, so I opted for my second favorite, SuperFruit Goji Berry Organic Green Tea. I poured hot water from my tea kettle into my water bottle with the infuser and took a casual walk in the snow with my hot tea. I find myself doing this quite often, and it brings me joy to connect with God while enjoying a brew that supports the persecuted church.

The people suffering in the persecuted church are our spiritual brothers and sisters. We need to be praying, supporting, and encouraging one another through life’s ups and downs. By showing love and compassion towards each other, we can create a strong community of faith that uplifts and strengthens each member.

What is this tea that I am referring to and what does it do? Indulge in the unique Back to Jerusalem (BTJ) Teas and transform your tea-time into a spiritual journey. Each sip offers you a chance to reflect on God’s word, pray for the persecuted church,  while also contributing $6.00 per box towards the BTJ vision. And there’s an added bonus! Purchase 3 or more boxes, and School House Tea will graciously include a complimentary BTJ devotional in your order.

But that’s not all we have in store for you!

School House Tea also offers a BTJ Tea Subscription Program, ensuring your favorite teas are delivered monthly without the need for re-ordering. Subscribing not only guarantees regular tea deliveries, but also supports the BTJ Martyrs Scholarship Fund.

The Martyrs Scholarship Fund assists the children of persecuted pastors in the Chinese Underground Church. These families encounter significant challenges, such as hefty fines they cannot afford, restrictions on selling their homes, travel bans, job loss, and even arrests due to their religious beliefs.

I am a Messianic Jewish believer that felt the tug of the L-rd towards the unreached. I decided I would go to China. My love for the Chinese people grew while I was there, but when I learned of the Back to Jerusalem movement, I knew the L-rd wanted me to be proclaiming His gospel message to the unreached people between China and Jerusalem. Let’s unite and complete the great commission. We need to accept the challenge Jesus has given us so that we can feel the exhilaration of victory.
