Fewer people travel more than missionaries, but what happens when those missionaries fly on the cheapest tickets and find themselves forced to check in their luggage at the gate when the overhead luggage space is too full?
Well, one video circulating online in Hong Kong last week reveals the tragedy of what happens sometimes after that precious luggage is handed over to the agent. A luggage handler wearing a reflective Cathay Pacific vest simply bounces the gate check-in luggage down a flight of stairs all the way into a yellow metal cart.

According to the report on this video, a luggage handler was offloading hand-carry bags to the cargo area because the overhead bins in the passenger cabin were too full.
The challenge with this video is that the items in a carry on bag are often more personal and fragile than the check in bags.
Cathay Pacific has reported that the person in the video has been relieved of their job pending the outcome of the investigation.
