Shahzad Masih has been sentenced to execution by hanging in Pakistan for blasphemy over statements he didn’t even make.
It is common in Pakistan for Muslims to accuse Christians of blasphemy as an excuse to attack, loot, rape and murder. In 2013, Shagufta Kauser, a BTJ partner, was sentenced to death for sending a blasphemous text to an imam and his lawyer. The Pakistani courts ignored the facts that Shagufta was illiterate, couldn’t read or write, could not speak the language that the text was sent in, and had never owned a mobile phone!
Shagufta was a Christian and that is all the Muslim government needed to convict her to death. It seems the same thing is happening to Shahzad Masih. A radical Muslim sectarian group has manufactured charges against this Christian boy when he was a minor and now the justice system is cooperating by having him executed.
Shahzad will hang for his Christian faith.
Blasphemy is a crime in Muslim nations and in Pakistan it carries the death penalty. Muslim nations have been pushing for the United Nations, EU, and America to adopt ‘hate speech’ laws, which are, in many ways, clandestine blasphemy laws.

Obviously you don’t know journalism worth shit with a number of key errors on this story. 1. He was found guilty, he might claim falsely accused but so do 90% of American prisoners however he was found guilty by the Pakistani courts system. 2. He is not being executed for his Christianity. He’s being executed for blasphemy ya dip shit. His faith has nothing to even do with this story . Do better man. Much better
Blasphemy in Islam can be claiming that Jesus is lord, which means if you’re a Christian you’re committing blasphemy by mere principle. so yes, he was sentenced and persecuted for being Christian.

Clarify you have anger at the faith of Christianity. no one lied. the article never claims she was killed and she was aquited many many years after being put on death row. the charge was blasphemy despite the fact they proved she never said anything of the sort. You’re an angry fellow.

I have always known I take my religious freedom in the US for granted but Shahzad’s ordeal sadly makes it seem all too real.
